Unveiled at the recent Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the new Ericsson Radio System is a modular approach to building and expanding mobile networks, and “represents a generational shift” according to the manufacturer.
The biggest questions on the minds of contractors are when will it be released, and how can I get my crews trained on the new system?
Jimmy Duvall, Director of External Communications at Ericsson, told Petrilla.com today that the “Estimated date for both training and rollout are Q3 of this year.”
The company released a short promotional video for the system showing what it calls “one-bolt installation…enabling fast deployment, reducing time-to-revenue while minimizing operating expenses.”
